Some frequently asked questions:
- Studying from old tests seems like cheating...is it cheating?
- No. There is no way you can know what your professor is going to ask you.
- What if my professor uses some of the same questions from previous tests?
- That is more you getting lucky. Your professor could just as easily take a definition from a book and have you match the word to it. Did you cheat by studying a word? No.
- Will you ever charge us to use this site?
- NO! As a student if I came across anything that charged me, I was very hesitant to use it. I know that you need to save money, so this site is all ad-based.
- Do you have to be registered to use this site?
- Not entirely. To post and download tests, you can be anonymous or registered. However to participate in any groups, rewards programs, contests or to comment, you must be registered (to track e-mail addresses in case I need to send you a message).
- (Update as of 07/09/2008) Can users post answer keys?
- Yes, but because we do not want this site to be a term paper mill (we want you to understand the solution's why and how), we are very particular about what we accept. No answer keys can be posted without a correlating exam, and no answer keys that look like a report or term paper are accepted. If these are posted, they will be quickly taken down.
