As of June 24th, 2008 the Ban List is suspended. All bans properly filled out before this date will be honored.
As we have abided by in the past, it is PostYourTest.com's policy to quickly respond to any notices of copyright infringement. The information below entails the steps necessary for removal of posted content consistent with the Digital Millenium Copyright Act of 1998, section 512(c)(3). Legally PostYourTest.com may be obliged if not required to ignore your request if it is not filled out properly. Please submit your request in concordance with the requirements below.
- At our contact form, use a corporate or ".edu" e-mail address and send us a quick message or summary regarding the removal using the option "Content Removal". You will receive an autoresponse that we will ask you to respond to for identity verification purposes. In this or follow up e-mails, please include the following information (you may include a Word Document or Adobe PDF Document (without Macros) in your response if you prefer).
- Identify with detail the copyrighted content that has been infringed upon.
- Identify and/or describe where the content that has been infringed upon resides on PostYourTest.com. Providing a URL of the content is the best way for us to locate and deal with it accordingly.
- In your response, include the following statements:
- "I recognize that the use of copyrighted materials described above as allegedly infringing is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
- "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification given is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act as an agent on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right to declare that the content is allegedly infringed."
- If possible, provide contact information appropriate (e-mail address(es) are appreciated) to contact the provider of the alleged content.
- Due to the contractual nature of this request, attached signature (scanned or electronic signature) either to a document or a replying e-mail is required.
Responses to the notices may include removal of or disabling the infringing content, as well as the banning or termination of user(s) (both username and IP Address). If possible however, PostYourTest.com may attempt to contact the content-provider with a notification of content removal, which may result in a counter-notice.
Thank you very much for your time (we really do appreciate it), and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
